Vintage Coaches

We operate two vintage coaches which are fully insured, licensed and tested to modern PCV standards, enabling the public to enjoy a journey back to the 50s in style.

Both coaches are available for weddings, nostaglic mystery trips or longer tours.

1951 Bedford OB - 29 Seats
Bedford co-developed with Duple the "Vista" coachwork for the OB, fronted by a classic bullnose. The ash framework was reinforced with steel, and the floor made from hardwood with softwood tongued and grooved boarding, with the exception of the cab area which was finished with alloy chequerplate. HVJ 203 was new to Wye Valley Coaches, Hereford in 1951 before joining the Boultons fleet.

1953 Leyland Royal Tiger - 37 Seats
Fitted with Burlingham Seagull bodywork KNT 780 was New to Danny Gittins, Crickheath, Oswestry in Jan 1954. She passed to Vaggs Coaches, Knockin Heath in April 1967 until the late 1970's from where she was rescued for preservation by the Vista Group in Hadnall before joining the Boultons fleet in 1987. This coach has remained in Shropshire throughout her entire life.

We have recently completed a comprehensive overhaul of the interior - click here to view photos of what we did.
